"Armenia is no longer a country robbed by you and your partners." Pashinyan resolutely responded to Lukashenka
Almost two years ago, Alexander Lukashenka stated that, supposedly, Armenia was needed by no one except Russia and Belarus. But under current conditions, this country will by no means be left without an alternative. This was stated by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on May 27 at an election rally in the city of Abovyan.
"We will not rely on one road, one ally, one pipeline. We have a railway from West to East; the Akhalkalaki-Kars railway opened earlier, and before that, a railway opened through the territory of Azerbaijan."
Soon, the TRIPP will open, a gas pipeline will run through our territory, and thanks to this transit, we will have our own gas. We will be paid with gas for this transit. We will develop alternative energy.
"As long as Armenia can be a member of the EAEU and continue reforms according to European standards, we will follow this path. As soon as the time comes to make a choice, the people of Armenia will make that choice. My great achievement is that the people have an alternative, so that no one can say: 'Who needs Armenia, where will it go?'"

All these sides must make the best offer to the people of Armenia, who will then make their choice. "I will say it directly. Armenia not only does not intend to leave the EAEU, but I am the only official who simultaneously sits on two governing bodies of the Union. I intend to use and will use these levers so that Lukashenka cannot use the EAEU against Armenia."
