A book about Henadz Buraukin released for the poet's 90th anniversary
Specifically for his 90th anniversary, the book "Lived-Written. Henadz Buraukin's Book. A Book about Henadz Buraukin" has been released – the result of many years of studying the poet's home archive and working in the Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art, writes Reform.news.
Buraukin himself did not leave memoirs, but his stories about fellow writers, about his work at "Maladost" (Youth) and "LiM" (Literary and Art), and at Goskomteleradio (State Television and Radio Committee) remained, and they are collected together under one cover for the first time.
Buraukin's personality was vividly revealed not only in his stories but also in the memoirs and diary entries of those who knew him well (for example, his wife Yulia Yakaŭleŭna), as well as in correspondence and archival documents, most of which are published for the first time.
The publication can be purchased at "Akademkniga".
