Belarus plans to digitize mobile trade in rural areas. An "Avtomagazin" (Mobile Shop) application will be created for rural residents, which should simplify the purchase of products and other necessary goods in small and remote settlements, writes "Minskaya Pravda".
The application will collect information about the operation of mobile shops. Users will be able to receive push notifications about the arrival time of the vehicle, possible delays, changes in routes and schedules.
The new service will allow the state to track the work of mobile trade in real time and control the implementation of social standards even in the most remote villages.
For trade organizations, digitization should also simplify operations. With the help of the application, they plan to optimize routes, reduce equipment downtime and decrease the number of empty trips.
The launch of the application is scheduled for the end of 2027. Residents of the Grodno region will be the first to test it. After testing is completed, the project is planned to be scaled and implemented throughout Belarus.
