A special diploma and an honorary breastplate were presented by Gennady Zyuganov, Chairman of the CPRF Central Committee, during a meeting at the Palace of Independence, BelTA reports .

The Lenin Prize of the CPRF Central Committee was revived in 2017 and is awarded for significant contributions to socially important activities that promote the principles of justice and humanism, achievements in advanced production and social practices, scientific research, and cultural activities. Over these years, 45 nominees have become its laureates.
Lukashenka was awarded this prize in 2024 for his tireless and consistent work in asserting the ideas of a just multipolar world and his contribution to expanding the practice of its formation, his constant efforts to strengthen the Union State, his personal participation in preserving the historical heritage and values of the Soviet era, and his important role in strengthening friendship and brotherhood between the peoples of the two countries.
At various times, the Lenin Prize of the CPRF Central Committee has been awarded to the First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, Raúl Castro, the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Nguyễn Phú Trọng, the President of Nicaragua, Daniel Ortega, and the Chairman of the State Affairs of the DPRK, Kim Jong Un.
