Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, after another massive Russian attack, called on Western partners to accelerate the supply of air defense systems and reported a critical shortage of interceptor missiles for protection against ballistic strikes.
“Defense against the Russian missile threat is the most important task for saving the lives of our people. All partners know how and what they can help with. Untimely assistance, delays in the supply of anti-ballistic missiles – this is precisely what leads to such destruction and casualties,” Zelenskyy stated in his Telegram.
According to him, on the night of July 30, Kyiv and Kyiv Oblast, as well as Dnipropetrovsk, Lviv, Poltava, Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Vinnytsia, Cherkasy, and Ivano-Frankivsk Oblasts came under attack.
Dozens of residential buildings, enterprises, and infrastructure facilities were damaged. In Lviv, the number of injured increased to 30 people; more than 20 residential buildings, a school, and two kindergartens were damaged.
In the suburb of Kryvyi Rih, an entire family of six people died as a result of a strike on a residential building.
