The man encountered troubles on his way from Germany to Russia, and now on his way back.
"An incident happened to me in Belarus"
Russian national Vladimir, who has lived in Germany since 1999, traveled to Russia via Belarus in early July. After visiting his homeland, he is now returning to Europe, but with a stop in Minsk.
In the capital of Belarus, he encountered troubles. Vladimir posted a video where he talks about his BMW X7 being damaged in Minsk. The car has many stickers: Russian and Soviet flags with emblems, and two Orthodox crosses affixed to the front doors.
In the video, the man says that in the evening he noticed that someone had damaged the driver's side rearview mirror mount.
"I don't even know how this could have happened, what they hit it with or what, but an incident like this happened to me in Belarus," says Vladimir, showing the mirror mount damaged in two places.
The main damage occurred to the lower part, where a strong dent is visible, causing the mount to significantly detach from the door. The second, less noticeable damage is in the upper part of the mount.
In this video, he only speculated that the damage could be from shots fired with traumatic weapons.
"Most likely they were aiming at the window, at me, so to speak. But when the car is moving, it's hard to hit. Well, thank God, they hit nearby," says Vladimir, adding that there is such a gas pistol with round bullets.
The man concludes that not everyone in Belarus likes the "combat" stickers on his BMW.
"Whatever the case, there are people living in Belarus who probably don't like the Russian flag, the Soviet flag, maybe they don't like me," he says.
157 km/h on the MKAD
And as can be seen in the videos Vladimir posts on social media, he might be disliked not only because he covered his car with flags and crosses.
In one of his latest videos, the man shows himself driving on the Minsk Ring Road (MKAD). At peak moments, the speed on the speedometer reaches 155-157 km/h. Within the city itself, he accelerated to 133 km/h.
Incidentally, on his way to Russia, he also filmed videos in Belarus showing significant speeding. However, in previous videos, the maximum speed seen was 143 km/h.
During his previous trip through Belarus, the man even got caught on a traffic police camera and paid a fine for speeding. However, the excess speed for which he was caught was minor — only 15 km/h, which is trivial compared to how he drives in the videos.
