In Belarus, the number of electric vehicles and charging stations continues to grow
In Belarus, in July 2026, the growth of the electric vehicle fleet and the network of electric charging stations continued. According to data from the Belarusian Association for the Development of Electric Transport (BETA), by the end of the month, 65,551 electric vehicles and hybrids were registered in the country, which is 5.2% more than the previous month.

Since the beginning of 2026, the number of vehicles using new types of fuel has increased by 16 thousand, or by 32.2%. Of this, about 68% of the increase accounted for fully electric vehicles, and another 32% for hybrid models.
Electric vehicles dominate the overall fleet of such transport. There are 46,176 of them, accounting for 70% of the total. 19,375 hybrid vehicles are registered, or about 30%.
The infrastructure for charging electric vehicles also continues to develop. In July, the number of electric charging stations across all operators increased by 4.3% and reached 2,307. Of these, 1,758, or more than three-quarters, are fast-charging stations, and another 549 are slow-charging.
According to forecasts, by the end of 2026, the number of electric vehicles in Belarus could grow to 75 thousand, which would be approximately 51% more than the previous year.
