Nasta Rahatko revealed how much she earned from her book

Nasta Rahatko, former editor-in-chief of Kyky.org and former head of communications for Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya's office, released the book "Take with You" last year, which explores political backstage, relationships with ex-partners, and current ones. Now she has shared the mathematics of her success.

Here's what Nasta said about her income.

€9,000 — income from sales in bookstores.

€10,500 — this is income from orders from her website, but this includes the delivery price.

Around 200 more books were sold at presentations for cash — €4,000.

In total, "Take with You" brought in a gross €23,500.

Now, expenses.

€2,500 went to delivery to people and stores.

€2,500 for book translations: full into English and partial into Polish.

Printing two runs of 1000 copies each — €1,500 and €1,500.

Preparation for launch: envelopes, photos, and other items — €1,500.

Another €500 for subscriptions, such as CapCut, Adobe, Readymag — the one on which the website was built.

And also a percentage received by the partner who communicates with bookstores and handles shipments.

Nasta says she practically doesn't account for ticket and accommodation costs during trips for presentations and meetings, because they combined tours with personal travel.

Minus €10,000. According to her calculations, €13,500 remains.

And now taxes. As a sole proprietor, she had a tax benefit, so she paid approximately €1,500 in taxes, meaning €12,000 remains.

She worked on the book for a year and a half. She wrote it for five months, prepared it for launch for four months, and has been promoting and selling it for nine months now, she said.

“If there's a Wikipedia page about idiocy and bravery, please put my photo there,” she concluded.

«Калі ў Вікіпедыі ёсць старонка пра прыдуркаватасць і адвагу, пастаўце, калі ласка, туды маю фатаграфію», — рэзюмавала Наста Рагатко.

На такую старонку на вікі варта дадаць ее фота разам з Матолькам. Той таксама шмат нарабіў, чаго толькі варты прыклад пра адсутнасць элементарных наладаў бяспекі для чата Гаюна, дзе было столькі дадзеных, чым і скарысталіся лукашысты.
