Five Georgians in Warsaw robbed a 25-year-old Belarusian and tried to drag him into their car.

On the evening of July 30, on Dobosza Street, a 25-year-old Belarusian citizen approached an ATM with a large sum of cash. As the man was depositing funds into his bank account, five Georgian citizens approached him.
They tried to drag the Belarusian into a car. When he began to resist, the attackers knocked him to the ground and started hitting him on the head with their hands. After that, they took his fanny pack, mobile phone, and about 20,000 zlotys in cash (about 4,650 euros).
The Belarusian sustained head injuries. Police officers who arrived at the scene provided him with first aid.
Police located the suspects in the armed robbery. The next day, they were apprehended in the village of Duchnów, located 15 kilometers east of Warsaw. The detainees are aged between 23 and 29. During the investigative actions, part of the stolen property was found.
The Georgians were charged with armed robbery committed by a group of persons acting in concert, with an attempt to deprive the victim of liberty. All accused have been arrested for three months.
According to the Polish Criminal Code, robbery committed by a group of persons is punishable by three to 20 years of imprisonment.
