The 4th City Clinical Hospital of Minsk has implemented new approaches to the surgical treatment of kidney and urinary tract diseases. Thanks to a modern laser surgical complex, operations have become less traumatic, and patient recovery times have significantly shortened, ONT TV channel reports .
While still about 15 years ago most urological diseases were treated with open surgeries, after which patients stayed in the hospital for at least 12-14 days, now almost all these methods have been replaced by minimally invasive interventions.
As noted by the hospital's chief physician, Uladzimir Sirenka, today the average hospital stay for a patient after such operations is only four to seven days. This allows people to return to normal life much faster.
Medical professionals emphasize that the success of treatment depends not only on modern equipment and the professionalism of doctors, but also on the patients themselves. They urge not to delay a visit to a specialist, as a timely detected disease significantly increases the chances of a quick and successful recovery.
