Apple has named the presentation date for the new iPhone.

Apple has sent out invitations for a presentation that will take place on September 9 at Apple Park — the company's headquarters in Cupertino, California. It is expected that the event will unveil the first foldable iPhone and other new products, reports Axios.
The presentation will begin at 10:00 AM local time (8:00 PM Minsk time) at the Steve Jobs Theater.
The event will be Apple's first major event since the change of CEO.
American engineer and Apple top manager John Ternus will replace Tim Cook as head of the company on September 1.
This year's presentation may be significantly larger due to the release of Apple's first foldable smartphone. According to industry sources, the device will feature a horizontal folding design: its external screen may have a diagonal of about 5.5 inches, and the internal one — about 7.8 inches. At the same time, Apple is expected to try to make the fold on the display less noticeable.
Simultaneously, Apple users and fans expect the company to also introduce the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max this autumn. Among the rumored changes in the devices are a new A20 Pro chip, a more compact Dynamic Island (an interactive area at the top of the screen), and a main camera with variable aperture.
