Portugal's national team mercilessly crushed Uzbekistan. Ronaldo scored two goals
The Portugal national team defeated the Uzbekistan team in the second round match of Group K of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The match in Houston, USA, ended with a score of 5:0 in favor of the Portuguese.

The main hero of the match was 41-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo, who scored a brace. He opened the scoring already in the 6th minute, and scored his second goal in the 39th minute.
Another goal in the first half was scored by Nuno Mendes, who found the net in the 17th minute.
In the 29th minute, the Uzbekistan national team managed to score, but after a video review, Azizjon Ganiev's goal was disallowed due to a foul in the attack.
In the second half, the fourth goal against the Uzbek team came from an own goal by goalkeeper Abduvakhid Nematov. And the final score was set by Rafael Leão in the 87th minute.
After two rounds, the Portugal national team has four points and leads Group K. The Uzbekistan national team currently remains with zero points and occupies the last place in the group.
In the third round, Portugal will face the Colombia national team, and Uzbekistan will play against the Democratic Republic of Congo national team. Colombia and DR Congo will play each other tomorrow at 5 AM Belarusian time.
