The Belarusian mobile operator MTS has announced the launch of its 5G roaming service, which allows users to access fifth-generation internet abroad.

Currently, the technology is available in six countries: Poland, Turkey, Georgia, Germany, Uzbekistan, and Armenia.
To use 5G roaming, you need a 5G-enabled device, as well as activated services "Roaming", "Data Transfer", and "5G Internet", which are included in the company's basic tariffs.
While abroad, users will be able to select local operators that support 5G. In the mobile application, such networks are marked with a special icon.
The company notes that it will gradually expand the number of countries and partners to provide access to high-speed internet worldwide.
In Belarus, MTS's 5G network has been developing since April. The operator now has over 1,100 base stations in major cities, and development is carried out jointly with beCloud.
