A resident of Kobryn district found old ammunition, manufactured in the early 20th century, in the forest while picking blueberries, BelTA reports .

A 57-year-old man told the police that he went into the forest and, about two kilometers from his home, noticed several cartridges on the ground. Law enforcement officers confiscated the find and sent it for examination.
Specialists from the Brest Inter-district Department of the State Forensic Examination Committee determined that the cartridges were factory-made and are ammunition for rifled firearms.
The examination showed that they were manufactured in the early 20th century at cartridge factories of the Russian Empire and France.
