Belarusian tennis player, world number one Aryna Sabalenka spoke about the preparations for her wedding with Georgios Frangulis, noting that she plans to hold the ceremony in Greece.
«I'm just saving different things. I have a wedding folder on social media, and I'm adding inspirational ideas that I like there. That's the stage we're at now. Georgios (Frangulis, Aryna Sabalenka's fiancé) is very wise in this regard — he lets me decide what I want. There are only a few things he says: «Okay, this absolutely must be there», and I reply: «Yes, okay, no problem».
For now, we plan to organize it in Greece. I just want to throw a really fun party so everyone can have a great time and enjoy the moment. That's all, and I really hope that's how it will be. I don't know if it's a good idea to broadcast live from Greece, because I think I'll be drinking, and there will probably be alcohol on the tables. Of course, there will be a lot of «Margaritas», — Sabalenka said in an interview with Tennis Channel.
Earlier, Aryna said that she wants to keep her surname after marriage.
«I will keep my surname. I have my own history, and thankfully, people understand me. I want to write my father's surname into history», — said the world number one.
Her father, Sergey Sabalenka, died at the age of 44 when his daughter was 23, and it was a tragedy.
«But if we ever have children, there will be a battle there. But I'm already losing that battle, so the children will probably be Frangulises», — Aryna said.
28-year-old Sabalenka and 37-year-old Brazilian entrepreneur of Greek origin, founder of the Oakberry chain, Georgios Frangulis, announced their engagement in March.
