The incident occurred in the yard of house No. 21 on Babruiskaya Street. The ambulance could not reach the call location because the access was blocked by Toyota and Chevrolet cars, parked in violation of traffic rules.
The incident was reported by both internet users who published a video and by the ambulance crew. As a result, paramedics had to leave their vehicle and walk to the neighboring house.
Minsk's Kastrychnitski district GAI officers promptly arrived at the scene, identified the offenders, and held them accountable in accordance with the law.
The State Automobile Inspectorate reminds that violating stopping and parking rules can not only cause inconvenience but also hinder the timely provision of medical assistance to people who need it.
