Electricity supply has been temporarily restricted across Crimea. "This is a forced measure. It is necessary to prevent overload of the electrical grid to avoid an accident in the entire energy system," the press service of Krymenergo stated.

Due to the decision to cut off electricity supply being made by the system operator (Black Sea RDU), there are currently no exact hourly schedules by district for electrical networks, writes "Dozhd".

The disconnections will be carried out "pointwise and as needed," Krymenergo added.

Earlier in the morning, restrictions were reported in Sevastopol.
