Unfinished villa of the head of ZROBIM architects studio in Phuket is for sale

On the Threads account of Andrei Makouski (Andrus Bezdar), co-founder and head of ZROBIM architects studio, who is currently in a pre-trial detention center, an announcement appeared for the sale of his unfinished villa on the Thai island of Phuket.

“Comrades, I am selling my villa in Phuket! Location: Botanica Pru Jampa. The villa is 75% complete as of today. With the villa, I am transferring the design project, complete set, and contacts of suppliers for furniture orders,” the page states.

Elena's phone number is provided for contacts — apparently, the designer's wife, who is now managing her husband's social media accounts for him.

Problems for Andrei Makouski and his firm began in early April. On April 9 and 10, security forces visited the office of ZROBIM architects bureau. Around 50 employees were detained, most were later released.

The firm was accused of receiving undeclared profits of $6 million from 2021 to 2025. The total damage to the country's budget was estimated at over 5 million rubles. In an STB report, it was stated that "at least 60% of all salaries" to the bureau's employees were paid "in envelopes."

Studio co-founder Andrei Makouski was detained. However, 16 days after the raid on the studio, posts about new projects appeared on Andrei's social media accounts — it was assumed he had been released.

However, on June 4, a post appeared on Andrei's Threads account: "Greetings from the pre-trial detention center! Pay your taxes in full, guys."

Later, his wife explained on social media: she is temporarily managing the account while her husband is behind bars. "In his letters, he sends me messages for Threads that he wants to discuss with you."

Andrei Makouski is currently under investigation, but the company continues to operate.

Неплохой такой особняк. На последние деньги такой обычно не строят.
