Smoke is visible from the side of the chemical plant in Novomoskovsk.

On the night of June 26, residents of Novomoskovsk, Tula region, reported a large number of explosions. The governor confirmed that there was "damage at an industrial enterprise" in the city. Air defense units destroyed 73 unmanned aerial vehicles in the region.
As reported by Astra, after the attack, smoke was noticed, presumably from the "Azot" chemical plant — a producer of ammonia, nitrogen fertilizers, as well as acetic and nitric acids, which can be used to produce octogen and hexogen for artillery shells.
At the same time, the fire monitoring system recorded a fire at the Novomoskovsk State District Power Plant after the attack in the Tula region, which provides heat and hot water to more than half of the city's residents, reports "Dozhd".
