The famous Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk announced that he is voluntarily vacating all the championship belts he holds.

“I want to leave all my belts that I currently hold, make them free, so that the guys who are in line for them can fight for them,” Usyk said in a video address.
At the same time, the Ukrainian emphasized that this decision does not mean the end of his professional career. According to the boxer, he still has a Last Dance ahead – at least one more official fight.
Usyk also noted that he respects all boxing organizations and is grateful to them for their cooperation.
Voluntary renunciation of championship titles is a common practice in professional boxing. Athletes often vacate belts to conduct other significant bouts, move to a different weight class, or avoid mandatory title defenses. Such a decision in itself does not indicate the end of a career.
