"What they are doing, that is what corresponds to interests." Pazniak praised Lukashenka in the situation with Zelensky's ultimatum
Veteran of the Belarusian movement Zianon Pazniak stated in a comment to Belsat TV channel that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's threats to independently remove repeaters near the border with Belarus are erroneous, and the authorities in Minsk are doing the right thing by not reacting to this.

Zianon Pazniak is confident that Moscow, which is trying to draw Belarus into the war, can use Volodymyr Zelensky's threats to its advantage:
"This is serious enough, because in fact this statement, very ill-considered, erroneous, allows the Russians to use it. And, probably, they will talk about how to use this statement: either wait until the Ukrainians come to their senses and do something themselves, although I doubt it, there are intelligent people there, I don't think that will happen; or the question will be discussed what Russia should do, what provocation should follow. Lukashenka must know this, they now have a common policy."
Pazniak also said that ignoring threats from Kyiv is the most appropriate thing to do. This corresponds to the national interests of Belarus, the politician believes:
"What they are doing, that is what corresponds to interests: they simply do not pay attention to it. I think they perfectly understand what it is, and I repeat: they are discussing in Moscow how to use this mistake, Zelensky's mistake."
Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that, according to information from Ukrainian military and intelligence officers, repeaters in Belarus that helped Russian drones attack Ukraine stopped working on June 22.
