The man behaved as if he was drunk, shouted, "mentioned Jesus and hell."

On an American Airlines flight from Dallas to Newark, a passenger was tied and strapped to a seat after he insulted a flight attendant and attacked other people, TMZ reported.
The man behaved as if he was drunk, shouted, "mentioned Jesus and hell," and then began to insult a flight attendant. Later, he allegedly hit a seatmate and pushed away a woman who tried to intervene in the conflict.
Then several passengers together subdued him and secured him to the seat using scotch tape and plastic ties. The plane had to be diverted to Baltimore, where the man was arrested by police. After that, the flight continued its journey to Newark.
American Airlines confirmed the emergency landing due to a "disruptive passenger" and stated that they do not tolerate violence on board. The man is being investigated under articles concerning assault and disturbing public order, reports Bild.
