In Myadzel, a resident of one of the courtyards decided to secure a parking spot for himself using a homemade structure. For this, he placed a stool in the parking space, to which he attached a heavy load, writes narachanka.by.
A video of the unusual device was published on TikTok. Within a day, the video gathered almost 20 thousand views.
The video shows that next to the stool, the car owner's apartment number is marked on the asphalt with paint, obviously, to indicate for whom this spot is intended. The author of the video wonders how many kilograms of load the owner attached to the stool.
He also notes that in winter, the resident's desire to keep a snow-cleared spot for himself could somehow be understood. However, in summer, such unauthorized "reservation" of a parking space looks absurd.
Social media users also disapproved of the act and reminded that similar actions could result in a fine.
The State Automobile Inspectorate has already drawn attention to the situation. The SAI reported that the actions of the Myadzel resident may show signs of an administrative offense. According to Article 18.29 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of Belarus, a fine of two to five basic units is stipulated for damaging or polluting a public road or other road structure.
An investigation is being conducted into this incident.
