20-year-old Minsk resident detained before he could sell the first dose of drugs to a 16-year-old girl

In Minsk, a 20-year-old resident of the capital was detained on suspicion of illegal drug trafficking. The man is accused of purchasing prohibited substances in small batches via the internet for personal use, and reselling part of them to acquaintances for money or services.

On the day of the detention, the man allegedly purchased mephedrone for a 16-year-old 9th-grade student from the Minsk district. This, according to law enforcement, was supposed to be her first dose of the drug ever.

The young man was detained, and the prohibited substance was confiscated. The girl was handed over to her parents after a preventive talk.

A criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident for illegal drug trafficking.
