Aliaksandr Parkhomenka is 23 years old. He is from the village of Dubrova, Yelsk district. In 2020, he enrolled in Mozyr University on a state-funded basis, specializing in "Technical Work and Entrepreneurship".
After graduating from university, the young man was assigned to Secondary School No. 6 in Mozyr, where he worked as a labor education teacher.
At work, he was valued as a promising specialist. In 2025, Aliaksandr became the winner of the district stage of the republican competition among working youth "SuperPROFI" in the nomination "SuperPROFI in Education and Science" and represented the Mozyr region at the regional stage.
The young man was arrested for political reasons. Recently, the Gomel Regional Court found Aliaksandr guilty under parts 1 and 2 of Article 361-4 of the Criminal Code of Belarus ("assistance to extremist activities").
The exact circumstances of his criminal case currently remain unknown, but it is likely that the persecution is connected to the Hayun case.
The young man was sentenced to "chemistry" (restricted freedom with compulsory labor) or a penal colony — he never appeared online.
