The Moscow Oil Refinery is unlikely to be fully restored by the end of 2026. This was reported by Reuters, citing two sources in the oil industry.

According to the agency, the damage sustained during the Ukrainian attack on June 18 was so severe that restoring the facility could take at least six months.
Earlier, satellite images showed significant damage to key production facilities at the plant, including the combined crude oil processing unit, which is considered the main element of the enterprise, as well as a second primary processing unit.
Even before this, a previous attack had disabled the first primary crude oil processing unit, which accounted for about half of the plant's production capacity.
The Moscow Oil Refinery has a design capacity of about 12 million tons of oil per year and until recently covered approximately 40% of the Russian capital's fuel needs.
However, Reuters does not specify whether partial restoration of the plant's operations is possible before the full repair is completed.
