34-year-old Anton Artsiamyonek, compiler of a dictionary of Belarusian football terms, has died
A few years ago, his father Henadz Artsiamyonek, who taught Belarusian for 40 years at Vitebsk universities, passed away.

His friends reported the death of Anton Artsiamyonek in a car accident.
Anton was 34 years old. At least until the end of 2023, he worked at the Vitebsk Regional Institute for Education Development, working with promising children. Before that, he was a teacher of Belarusian language and literature in Vitebsk schools.

At one time, Anton Artsiamyonek developed a dictionary of Belarusian football terms. The young man was fond of football and was an active user of relevant forums.

Anton Artsiamyonek's father was Henadz Artsiamyonek, Candidate of Philological Sciences. From 1981 to 2021, he taught Belarusian language—first at the Vitebsk Pedagogical Institute, and then at Vitebsk State University. Henadz Artsiamyonek died in 2021, at the age of 61.
