Son of singer Halina Shyshkova and former TV star Yahor Khrustalyov went to work for BT
This year Ivan Khrustalyov graduated from the Journalism Faculty of BSU. Four years ago he said he planned to pursue cinema, not journalism, but now the young man can be seen on the air of «Belarus 2».

Ivan's parents are celebrities. Even during his student years, Yahor Khrustalyov became the host of the first Belarusian talk show — they say, the program «Karambol» was developed especially for him.
In 1997, Khrustalyov was called a sex symbol. Later, the host moved to ONT, where he was the face of the program «Vybar» (Choice).
While married, Khrustalyov had an affair with singer Halina Shyshkova. Soon, the couple had a son, Vanya (Ivan). The host acknowledged the child, but did not leave his official family. The romantic relationship with Halina ended there.
In 2022, Ivan Khrustalyov entered the Journalism Faculty of BSU (scoring 381 out of a possible 500 points). At that time, the media wrote that the young man planned to pursue cinema in the future, not journalism.
Recently, Ivan Khrustalyov graduated from the Journalism Faculty of BSU — his dad and mom attended the solemn diploma awarding ceremony.
In the end, Ivan went to work for BT (Belarusian Television) — his reports from various domestic enterprises could already be seen on «Belarus 2». He also reported on the festive events of May 9 and July 3.
Halina Shyshkova enthusiastically demonstrates excerpts of the reports. She says she watches them herself, holding her breath. But she's a little offended that Ivan told her nothing about his work: «Imagine, I live with my son, and my son showed me nothing, told me nothing about what he was doing».
By the way, Ivan's sister — Yahor Khrustalyov's elder daughter Mariya — also works for BT as a TV host and editor. Last year, the brother and sister together hosted the opening ceremony of the international film festival «Listapad».
