Inna Kokhova, a judge of the Orsha District and Orsha, has been dismissed. The corresponding decree was signed by Alexander Lukashenka. The reason cited is the commission of a misconduct incompatible with holding civil public service.
Kokhova participated in repressions since at least 2011. In the human rights activists' database, there are more than 10 decisions issued by her on political administrative protocols and 5 verdicts in political criminal cases. However, the list is far from complete: Kokhova was also responsible for additional punishment of political prisoners held in a strict regime colony in Orsha; she transferred them to prison conditions. In particular, in February 2025, Kokhova tried the anarchist Alexander Frantskevich.
The maximum allowed age for a judge of general jurisdiction courts is 65 years. Kokhova was dismissed at 60 years old.
