The innovation will affect non-resident individuals who have accounts in Russian rubles, including those opened in other banks. This refers to both ordinary current accounts and accounts accessed via bank cards.

The commission will be 5% of the amount of cash Russian rubles deposited for crediting to the account.

For accounts opened from June 24, the commission will apply from the date of opening. For accounts opened earlier, it will come into effect on August 1.

Earlier, Alfa Bank, MTBank, BNB-Bank, Sber Bank, Technobank, and Zepter Bank already announced the introduction of a similar fee.
