Belarusian Railway has a new ideologue — but what happened to the old one?
Since 2010, Pyotr Stotsky was responsible for the organization of ideological and personnel work, as well as discipline, at the Belarusian Railway.
Recently, he retired. He turned 63 years old in May.
Aliaksandr Khomchanka, who previously worked as the head of the Vitebsk branch of the Belarusian Railway, has been appointed to his position.

Pyotr Stotsky was an exemplary ideologue. After his candidacy was approved by Lukashenka in 2010, Stotsky, upon becoming Deputy Head of the Railway, supported the state course: he organized propaganda meetings of the staff with representatives of the election commission, and in 2020, after the falsified elections, he was involved in the dismissal of employees who participated in peaceful protests.

Stotsky's last public appearance before retirement was his participation in a dialogue platform dedicated to the so-called "National Unity Day" at the Gomel Carriage Building Plant.
