Belarusian built a homemade solar-powered motor-bike and rode it home from Dagestan
Dmitry Patskevich, a resident of Osipovichi district, created an unusual four-wheeled electric motor-bike with an enclosed body, powered by solar panels. It can be used not only for traveling but also for sleeping during long trips, writes Komkur.info.

The idea came to Dmitry during his stay in Dagestan, where he often visits. He found most of the parts for the body and chassis at local junkyards, and bought electronic components and solar panels online. The total cost for the electronics was about 80 thousand Russian rubles.

In the autumn of 2025, the homemade vehicle was ready for testing. Dmitry then set off on it from Dagestan to Belarus. The journey of about 2350 kilometers took almost two months. Along the way, he had to repair wheels, replace electronic components, and even sleep right in the body, which is equipped with a sleeping place.

According to the inventor, in sunny weather, the range of the device is practically unlimited, and in cloudy weather, the motor-bike can travel about 50 kilometers without additional charging. After returning to Belarus, he began to use his invention also as a small home power station.

Now Dmitry continues to improve the design. He wants to increase the number of solar panels, improve speed and range in bad weather.

A special place in the man's life is his passion for space. He creates laser shows on space themes, independently made a cosmonaut suit, and even received a memorable gift with autographs from the International Space Station crew. One of his friends, who visits Baikonur, told about his hobby.

In the future, Dmitry plans to make new journeys on his "Mars Rover" - as he called the motor-bike. Among his main goals are Star City near Moscow and the Baikonur Cosmodrome. According to him, even several thousand kilometers do not seem like an obstacle when you are moving towards your dream.

Russian Investigative Committee named responsible persons and perpetrators who, according to its version, attacked a bus with Belarusian children near Bryansk
