The authorities of occupied Crimea have taken emergency security measures for the summer season. From June 22 to September 1, it is completely prohibited on the peninsula to book places and accept organized groups of children in summer camps, sanatoriums, hotels, and other accommodation facilities. The corresponding decree was signed by the Russia-appointed head of the region, Sergei Aksyonov.
The ban applies to all types of children's health camps, as well as guesthouses and hotels, if it concerns the arrival of children as part of organized groups.
Bringing children's groups to Crimea until the end of summer is prohibited for participation in excursions, tourist rallies, festivals, sports competitions, and training camps.
The decision was made amid a sharp deterioration of the security situation in the region and constant aerial threats. Crimea was left without fuel, water, electricity, and a ferry crossing. There are huge queues to leave Crimea.
