In Chechersk, a woman sustained injuries in a traffic accident due to her husband's fault. He was ordered to pay for her treatment
In Chechersk, the court ordered a motorcyclist to compensate for the treatment costs of his wife, who sustained severe injuries in a traffic accident due to his fault. The amount of compensation exceeds 19 thousand rubles, the Gomel Oblast Prosecutor's Office reports .

The accident occurred in the summer of 2025. A man on a Honda motorcycle attempted to overtake a tank truck at the moment when the truck was turning left. As a result, a collision occurred.
The driver's wife, who was a passenger on the motorcycle, sustained severe life-threatening injuries. She underwent treatment for more than 20 days at the Gomel Regional Clinical Hospital.
The motorcyclist's actions were classified as a violation of traffic rules, which, due to negligence, led to severe injuries. However, the criminal case was closed because the injured party refused to file a statement to prosecute her husband.
Despite this, the prosecutor's office appealed to the court on behalf of the medical institution, demanding to recover the cost of treatment. The court fully satisfied the claim and ruled to recover more than 19 thousand rubles from the man.
