The website of the restored Belarusian Internet Library Kamunikat has launched
«As of today, Kamunikat has been restored almost to the state it was in before the attack,» Yaroslav Ivanyuk announced at a creative meeting with readers at the Center for Belarusian Solidarity in Warsaw, writes Reform.news.

The founder of the Belarusian Internet Library and publisher admitted that he deliberately did not make a public announcement in advance, so as not to give hackers the opportunity to spoil the good news.
«As of today, the library is available, alive, and working,» he noted.
A few individual files were «lost» forever, mostly illustrations for archival news.

As emphasized on the library's website, after the attack, the team strengthened security measures as much as possible — «they reviewed approaches to backup, strengthened website protection, and restructured part of the processes so that the project would be more resilient to similar attacks in the future.»
The project plans include a new website on a modern engine.
«The most important task is to «befriend» the archives we have with it. But we will do it,» the creators note.
On May 7, 2026, the Kamunikat.org server was heavily attacked, resulting in the deletion of all files collected over 25 years. Now the library has been successfully restored.
At the end of 2025, the regime recognized the content of the library's website as «extremist materials». On March 3, 2026, the Belarusian KGB included Kamunikat in a non-existent «coalition of print publishers» and declared it an «extremist formation».
