The Russian service "Avito" will remove all ads for gasoline sales from its platform.
"All ads for the resale of gasoline on Avito will be hidden in the near future to avoid speculation on an essential commodity. The rule has come into effect, moderation has been launched. We will revise regulations and refine the rules in this category, up to prohibiting certain actions," says the message from the popular online platform.
Due to Ukrainian attacks on Russian oil refineries (NPPs), fuel shortages are occurring in Russia, and prices are rapidly rising. Russian independent gas station networks are forced to switch to purchasing more expensive Belarusian gasoline.
