Belarus is among the top 20 countries with the cheapest cigarettes
The Numbeo portal analyzed the price of a pack of Marlboro cigarettes in 99 countries. The cheapest cigarettes in June 2026 were found in Nigeria, where a pack cost $0.73, writes Thinktanks.pro.

Vietnam ranked second, where a pack of Marlboro can be bought for $1.36. Iraq took third place: $1.1.
Belarus ranked 16th in this rating with a price of $2.89 per pack of cigarettes. Among its neighbors, Ukraine was closest to our country, ranking 18th with a price of $2.90.
The remaining countries bordering Belarus occupied the following positions:
- Russia: 28th place ($3.46);
- Poland: 54th place ($5.74);
- Latvia: 59th place ($5.92);
- Lithuania: 69th place ($6.38).
The most expensive cigarettes were found in Australia, where a pack of Marlboro costs $35.70.
