From 9:00 to 15:00, thunderstorms are expected in many regions of Belarus, which in some places will be accompanied by heavy downpours, hail, and squally wind gusts up to 15-20 m/s. The stormy conditions will persist over the country until the end of the day.

The main storm front will affect the south and southeast of the country. Extreme phenomena will be provoked by a strong temperature contrast here.

Overall, the air temperature across the country will warm up from +24°C to +30°C. At the same time, more comfortable weather is expected in the northern half of the country with temperatures of +23…+26°C, while in the south, mercury columns will manage to rise to +28…+30°C, which will become a catalyst for dangerous natural phenomena.

The bad weather will not bypass the capital. In Minsk, a thunderstorm is forecast between 11:00 and 15:00, during which squally wind gusts up to 15-20 m/s are possible.

Residents of the country, especially the southeastern region, are advised to be as careful as possible, close windows tightly, and not leave cars under trees or near unstable structures.
