92% of delegates voted for Pavel Latushka's associate, while his sole opponent Andrei Kolas received votes only from Kolas himself and three of his faction members.

62 out of 66 delegates who participated in the vote cast their ballots for Brukhan, who represents the coalition "Latushka and Movement 'For Freedom'" and previously headed the 3rd convocation of the Coordination Council. The Coordination Council consists of a total of 80 delegates.
Brukhan's opponent, Andrei Kolas, head of the "Your Voice" faction, received four votes.
Meanwhile, the "United Civic Platform" faction did not participate in the voting. Its representatives had earlier stated that several factions were not properly informed about the technical regulations, deadlines, and procedures for nominating candidates. In their opinion, this deprived some factions of the opportunity to nominate their representatives.
The faction considered the elections premature and refused to participate in the voting. It also called not to recognize the election results as legitimate and to return the procedure to the candidate nomination stage with clearly defined rules and deadlines.
