It became known what poisoned the children in Barysaw kindergartens
The Sanitary and Epidemiological Service of the Ministry of Health of Belarus confiscated products from the "Biomalprom" enterprise after investigating cases of hospitalization of children in the Minsk region, reports the Ministry of Health press service.

As reported by the Deputy Minister of Health — Chief State Sanitary Doctor of Belarus Svetlana Nechai, this was done to prevent further spread of epidemiological danger associated with the company's products.
On June 2-3, dozens of children, primarily in Barysaw, but also in other localities of the Minsk region, were hospitalized with symptoms that could indicate an intestinal infection. As of June 8, no new cases of seeking medical help have been recorded.
During the epidemiological investigation, specialists interviewed children and their parents, after which the fermented milk product "Bifidin" was identified as a probable source of infection.
A product sample was sent for laboratory tests. The check showed that the product did not meet microbiological safety requirements.
Sanitary supervision employees also checked the production conditions at the enterprise. As a result, the company's activities were suspended, and the sale of its products stopped.
The Ministry of Health stated that the situation remains under the constant control of the department.
