All train passengers on the peninsula were evacuated.

The head of annexed Crimea, Sergey Aksyonov, reported that as a result of a Ukrainian drone strike on the locomotive of the Moscow — Simferopol passenger train.
According to preliminary data, the assistant driver died, and the driver was injured.
According to Aksyonov, there were no casualties among passengers. Regular train traffic on the peninsula was suspended, and all passengers were evacuated. Buses were provided to passengers of 11 trains for delivery to Simferopol.
