Maria Vaitsiashonak's Children's Book "Tales of an Old Dacha" Has Been Released

Maria Vaitsiashonak's book "Tales of an Old Dacha" for young readers and their parents has been released by the "Digraph" publishing house.

The writer created not just fairy-tale plots, but an entire philosophical world built on deep respect for all living things, writes bellit.info.

These tales were born where time flows according to the laws of nature: at an old dacha in Islach and a new one in Silichy. Maria Vaitsiashonak's characters are rural, forest, and garden inhabitants who love, dream, seek their destiny, and solve the eternal problems of good and evil. This book is a meeting with enchanting Belarus, where every creature has a story and its own soul.

Have you ever wondered what old things in country houses talk about when their owners leave for the city? What secrets do the garden flowers and the wind tangled in the tree crowns hide? This book is like a quiet conversation with oneself. It's about how important it is to notice magic in an ordinary fog or in the creak of a door.

Artist Sviatlana Ryzhykava worked on the book's design.
