According to the press service of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting discussed the activities of the Viasna Human Rights Center, which Bialiatski founded.
Sikorski welcomed the recent registration in Poland of the Ales Bialiatski Foundation, which will be engaged in the protection and promotion of human rights. He also thanked the human rights activist for participating in the Kościuszko Forum, which took place a week ago in Gdańsk, in cooperation with the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the European Solidarity Centre.
"We in Poland are impressed by your unwavering stance and modesty, and above all, deeply grateful for your consistency in the fight for human rights. We acknowledge your independence and focus on defending civil liberties," Sikorski noted during the conversation.
Ales Bialiatski was released from a penal colony in Belarus after more than four years of imprisonment in December 2025. After his release, he was forcibly deported to Lithuania. He was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2022.
"Thank you, Lena! Continue your observation." The officer who wrote to Kharysavaya frequented political emigration chats, and even offered to exchange nudes with some girls.
