The most expensive apartment in Minsk was sold for 690 thousand dollars in May
The housing is located in a building with a long history. We are talking about the residential complex «Pory Goda» (Seasons) in the center of Minsk near «Horyzont» (Horizon), which, before receiving elite status, managed to be a scandalous long-term construction.

Construction of the building began in 2004, but after a few years, it was frozen. Businessman Sergey Demchuk was accused of fraud and sentenced to 8 years in prison under strict regime with confiscation of property.
The Minsk City Executive Committee continued the construction of the building, not without the financial assistance of the equity holders. The building was put into operation only in 2016, writes Realt.by.

Despite its complex history, the building turned out to be special. It has an excellent location, its own closed territory, and premium interior finishing. Therefore, apartments in this building are not for the first time among the ratings of the most expensive deals.
Thus, the most expensive apartment sold in May in Belarus was a dwelling with an area of 189 square meters. According to documents, it is a two-room apartment. The dwelling near Osmolovka and the National Academic Grand Opera and Ballet Theatre of Belarus was sold for 690 thousand dollars. Thus, one square meter cost the buyer 3651 dollars.

Note that in the first years of construction (in 2004), apartments here were sold for 2500-3500 dollars per square meter, and after the construction was frozen, they were put up for auction at 1100-1300 dollars per meter.

By the way, six apartments are currently for sale in this residential complex. The most affordable offer is a four-room apartment without finishing for 380 thousand dollars, and there are also designer apartments for sale priced at 3.1 million dollars.
