In Stolin District, the Olesha Family Estate Was Sold. The Initial Price Increased 10-fold
An old estate in the village of Novoberezhnoe, Stolin district, was put up for auction on the "BUTB-Property" platform. During the bidding, the abandoned late 19th-century mansion increased in price by almost 10 times, writes Office Life.

Four contenders vied for the lot — two individuals and two companies. The bidding lasted less than an hour, but participants managed to make 90 bids. As a result, the price soared from the starting 12.9 thousand to 128.2 thousand rubles (about $44.7 thousand at the exchange rate). A resident of Olshany agrotown, famous throughout Belarus and located in the same Stolin district, purchased the brick two-story house covering 426 square meters.
Along with the mansion and an old ice-house, the buyer received 37 ares of land on a 50-year lease. The estate does not have the official status of a historical and cultural value. This means that the new owner can open a hotel, restaurant, shop, or simply make it a residential home.
There is only one condition: during reconstruction, the architectural appearance of the building must not be changed. The estate must be renovated within three years.
