According to the department's information, the sick animal scratched the woman's hands. However, she did not seek medical attention afterwards and did not complete a course of rabies vaccinations.
Doctors remind that rabies is a deadly disease. If a person has already developed clinical symptoms, it is impossible to cure the disease. Death can occur due to paralysis of the respiratory system or cardiac arrest.
