In Novorossiysk, drones attacked a fuel oil terminal. A large fire broke out

The terminal is part of the Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port — Russia's largest sea port by cargo throughput volumes.

Around midnight, residents of Novorossiysk reported sounds of drones flying, the operation of Russian air defense, and explosions.

The mayor of Novorossiysk confirmed the occurrence of a fire but claimed that the fires occurred due to falling debris. The mayor did not name the attacked enterprise, nor did he report on the scale of destruction or the presence of casualties.

According to Dnipro Osint data, the strike was carried out on objects of the port complex, as a result of which at least one tank of the fuel oil terminal was damaged.

LLC "Novorossiysk Fuel Oil Terminal" is one of the leading enterprises of the Novorossiysk transport hub, which is part of the Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port — Russia's largest sea port by cargo throughput volumes.

The terminal specializes in storing and transshipping fuel oil and light oil products, and its throughput capacity is about 4 million tons per year.
