A tornado hit the Grodno region PHOTOS

A powerful tornado was 15 kilometers from the Astravets Nuclear Power Plant.

On the night of August 2, a powerful storm raged on the border of Smarhon and Astravets districts. It caused a destructive tornado that traveled about 10 kilometers and approached the Belarusian Nuclear Power Plant to a distance of 15 kilometers, the "Meteovibe" channel reported.

The tornado felled trees in the forest, tore roofs off buildings, and broke power lines.

The wind's force was so powerful that the whirlwind carried heavy hay bales hundreds of meters, bent and knocked down road signs.
