On the night of July 30, an air raid alert sounded in Polish Lublin.
To protect Poland's airspace, fighters and an early warning aircraft were scrambled, and ground-based air defense and radar reconnaissance systems were put on high alert.

The Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces stated that the actions were preventive in nature and were related to another attack by the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine.
Some Ukrainian monitoring channels reported a possible entry of Russian missiles into Polish airspace, however, there is no official confirmation of this from the Polish military.
The military command emphasized that the situation is under full control, and forces are ready for immediate response.
