Seviarynets: If a Belarusian does not speak Belarusian with another Belarusian — there will be no Belarus
Political prisoner and politician Pavel Seviarynets believes that everyone who opposes the regime must speak the Belarusian language. He also praised all popular politicians who are taking their first steps in personal Belarusianization.
«Belarusians will speak the language that their superiors speak. Our president-elect already speaks Belarusian. Viktar Babaryka is starting to speak Belarusian — and that's great. Belarusians see that the elite speaks Belarusian, and they will do the same,» he said at the 'New Belarus' conference.
At the same time, Seviarynets acknowledges that Belarusians lack a Belarusian-language university for training strong personnel for the future.
«The enemy goes where the priest and the teacher have suffered defeat. Europeans say we have EHU. But EHU is not a Belarusian university. We need a university where Nobel laureate Ales Bialiatski, Vintsuk Viachorka, Katsiaryna Vadanosava would teach in Belarusian. Youth would flock there in droves. And even though I'm almost 50, I would go to study at such a university myself.»

нация - это не обязательно единый язык.
нация - это схожий менталитет на некоторой территории, который совсем не обязательно зависит от языка.
хватит уже навязывать глубоко вторичную повестку.
и ДА!!! я вообще не против мовы.. ТОЛЬКО ЗА !!! но не надо бороться с ветряными мельницами, когда борьба должна быть СОВСЕМ в другом поле.
Когда у этого, так называемого политика, и ему подобных нет других идей, как победить лукашизм и сделать Беларусь свободной, то они начинают цепляется за языковой вопрос, ошибочно или намеренно, видя в этом причину всех бед беларусов.
Хватит, того, что некоторые поляки уже превращаются в коричневых, проявляя агрессию против украинцев, фоном достается и Беларуси за не тот язык или акцент польского. Такого в Беларуси быть не должно!
